Hank Beal

Director of Adult Beverages

Hank Beal is the executive wine buyer of adult beverages for Nugget Market, overseeing a team of wine stewards and regular tasting events.   For more than 25 years, Hank has been working in the wine industry, and he is a two-time medalist at the California Wine Tasting Championships.  Hank is also the co-author of “A Moveable Thirst:  Tales and Tastes from a Season in Napa Wine Country,” and he regularly hosts and speaks at wine-and-food events in our area.  Hank’s wine department selections are used as teaching examples by the viticulture and enology department at UC Davis, where he has been a guest lecturer.
