While on our visit, we learned all about the 300-acre farm that has been growing organically for more than 28 years. Fully Belly Farm is family owned and operated, and their tender love and care shows in their delicious products. Dru Rivers, one of the founders of the farm, shared their passion for not only growing food, but also growing farmers. Bellwether Farms
Apr 18, 2012 11:20 AM
Once upon a time, Cindy Callahan needed a way to keep her pasture grasses under control, so she bought sheep. That one innocent act triggered what her son Liam calls, “a series of events that placed our family at the forefront of the American revival in artisan cheese making. Cindy and her family bring us some of the best Ricotta we’ve ever tasted, and we’re proud to carry this world-class cheese in Nugget Markets. Liam challenged us to, “Take a bite out of any of our cheeses, and you’ll taste the difference one family’s commitment to quality can make,” and we couldn’t agree more!
