As someone who has been interested in wine practically all his life, Michael DePaco says he draws his interest from his diverse agricultural surroundings here in California. "Having such resources so close is amazing, from the Napa Valley to Davis and Woodland, and up to the Foothills, keeps me excited to explore and keep experiencing the wonder that is Northern California," Michael says. In addition to exploring California's wine regions, Michael has also traveled to Europe to learn about wine, working in a friend's family vineyard harvesting grapes. Michael says that he is always excited to learn new things about wine, and he tries to live by these wise words: "Once you feel that you have learned it all, that's when you stop learning."
