Wine Steward, Covell Davis
Don't be afraid to ask Wine Steward Michael Taylor any questions you might have about fine wine or fine cuisine. Michael boasts expert knowledge in both areas, because before coming to Nugget Market, he spent 17 years working as a chef. After becoming involved with winemaker dinners and selecting wines for his restaurant's wine list, Michael made the transition to wine steward. He is a Certified Wine Educator and is currently working on completing his certification as a Master Sommelier. Michael has also traveled extensively to the world's major food-and-wine regions, including the Rioja region in Spain, the Douro region in Portugal, and Bordeaux and the Loire Valley in France.
