Pureed fresh pear gives this cocktail the essence of its fall flavor.
Ingredients
Fall Peartini:
- 1½ ounces vodka
- ½ ounce Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
- 2 ounces pear puree
- 2 ounces simple syrup
- 1 pear slice coated in cinnamon and sugar, for garnish
Pear Puree:
- 2 pears, cut and skinned
- ½ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of water
Preparation
To make the pear puree, combine two skinned and cut pears with ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Blend and strain any excess pulp.
For the cocktail, combine vodka, Cocchi Vermouth di Torini, pear puree and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cinnamon-sugar pear slice.
