Arr, be ye up fer this here tropical kick in the keister? This concoction is sure to put a fire in yer belly and a pucker on yer face.
- 4 fresh pineapple chunks
- 2 coin-sized slices of fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup (or 1 cube sugar)
- 1 ounce bourbon
- 1½ ounces dark rum
- 1 ounce club soda or ginger ale
- ½ ounce Grand Marnier
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 2 lime wedges
- 1 cherry for garnish
Muddle pineapple, ginger and sugar or simple syrup. Add bourbon and dark rum, top with ice and soda, stir 10 seconds, and finish with a float of Grand Marnier. Garnish with a maraschino or fresh cherry.
