These fun creamy treats are a great addition to root beer, hard or soft! Or put a stick in it and enjoy as a Root Beer Float on a Stick!
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 16 ounces hard root beer
- 2 ounces Galliano
- Other supplies: True Colossal silicone ice cube tray, popsicle sticks
Mix softened vanilla ice cream, 8 ounces of hard Root beer and Galliano. Let stand for about 10 minutes to allow the carbonation settle down. Pour mixture into True silicone ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
To make a float on a stick, insert a popsicle stick into the middle of each ice cube once they start to harden.
Place 3 frozen cubes into a glass and pour 8 ounces of hard root beer over the top.
Pro tip: To avoid excessive foam, put the ice cubes in the glass first and slowly poor the root beer down the side of the glass, not directly on top of the root beer ice cubes.
Enjoy a creamy treat as the cubes melt away.
