HeART Healthy for Life 2014
December 18, 2013
Nugget Markets and the American Heart Association along with the AHA’s Go Red for Women campaign are committed to promoting heart-healthy lifestyles for everyone.
In keeping with that vision, Nugget Markets proudly partners with the American Heart Association's 2014 Go Red for Women program for the Children’s Heart Art Challenge, sponsored by Nugget Markets.
Thus educational outreach is designed to bring heart-health awareness to local 4th and 5thgraders in a fun way by inviting students from local schools to take the Heart Art Challenge, using art to describe what it means to be heart healthy.
- January 7 – January 31, 2014: Timeframe for students to create art.
- February 1, 2014 – Deadline for teachers to submit classroom art to local Nugget Markets location
- February 2– February 7, 2014 – Nugget Markets panel of judges will review all artwork and choose winners in each category.
- February 8, 2014 – Nugget Markets community relations department will contact the teacher of the winning students.
