Our newest store is officially open! Located on the corner of Douglas Blvd. and Sierra College Blvd., our Granite Bay location opened its doors on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 with a fantastic turnout from the community and tons of fun, food, and festivities all day long. The whole day was a delight from start to finish, and we couldn't be more grateful for all our associates, partners, vendors, and guests who made it possible—THANK YOU!

• Nugget Market is a local, family-owned company dedicated to serving our communities with world-class service and quality since 1926. This is our 17th store, our third in Placer County, and our first in the Granite Bay community. 
• Our construction crew remodeled an existing building for this location, taking it down to its studs and rebuilding it inside and out with all the stunning elegance our guests have come to expect. 
• Our store's fearless leaders include Store Director Cody M. (previously leading our sister store in Sonoma) and Manager-in-Charge (MIC), Taylor W.
• From organic and vegan to local, sustainable, and more, our new Nugget Market has gourmet groceries and everyday essentials fit for every lifestyle thanks to help from Shaun C., Grocery Manager.
• Like our other Nugget Market locations, this store features a cornucopia of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables including both conventional and organic options in our Produce Department led by Produce Manager Jack G.
• And if you're looking for fantastic florals, drop by this location to find houseplants, succulents, bouquets, and other gorgeous options with help from Floral Manager Danica M. 
• The Meat & Seafood Department has a full-service meat counter led by Meat Manager Bud B. and our team of talented butchers with premium cuts, prepared entrées, and house-made sausage, plus a dry-aged beef case.
• Our Specialty Cheese Department offers hundreds of artisan offerings from around the corner and around the world, plus the expertise of Specialty Cheese Manager Daniel M.
• Our Adult Beverage Department features a huge selection of the best local and international beers, wines, and spirits, along with knowledgeable Wine Stewards like Sydney O. to help with picks and pairings.
• In our Bakery, you’ll find a gorgeous case full of cakes, tarts, and other decadent desserts, along with our signature artisan breads made from scratch and baked in stone deck ovens daily by our skilled bakers, led by Bakery Manager Paige B.
• Our Kitchen features a sandwich bar (offering our mouthwatering signature sandwiches), salad bar, grain bar, breakfast bar, rotisserie options, sushi, charcuterie, and a wide variety of prepared dishes made from scratch by our professional chef team and Kitchen Manager Jershaun H.
• Our Coffee & Juice Bar offers a variety of locally roasted coffees, fresh juices, smoothies, açai bowls, and seasonal beverages made to order by our talented baristas like Coffee Bar Manager Celeste R.
