Homemade froyo? You bet! Flavored with honey, lemon and vanilla, this simply sweet frozen yogurt has no added sugar!
- 1 quart whole milk yogurt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 lemon, zested
Hang yogurt in cheesecloth over a bowl and allow to drain in refrigerator for 4 hours.
Place strained yogurt in a work bowl and mix until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix to incorporate.
Churn mixture in an ice cream machine per manufacturer’s instructions, then place in freezer for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
