Portabella Veggie Burger Patty

Use hearty portabella mushrooms to make your own veggie patty for a burger that's bound to please.
Ingredients

Preparation
Heat ½ tablespoon vegetable oil in a sauté pan. Add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic and sauté until no liquid remains. Add pepper and tapioca flour and stir to combine. Mix soy sauce and water and add to the pan.
Once thickened, press mushroom mixture into 3½-inch ring molds, sprinkle the top of each with 2 tablespoons rice flour, and chill for 1 hour.
After chilling, remove patties from molds, carefully flip over and dust the other side with rice flour. Sauté in remaining vegetable oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve with your favorite burger toppings.
