Shoyu Chicken

Shoyu (a.k.a. soy sauce), fresh ginger and garlic come together to make this simple yet succulent glazed chicken recipe.
Ingredients

Preparation
In a large saucepan, heat soy sauce to a boil. Stir in the green onions, ginger, garlic and mirin, lower heat to simmer, then add chicken thighs. Cover pan and cook for 35–45 minutes.
When chicken is almost finished, remove the lid and turn the heat up to medium-high. Watch the pan closely and turn chicken often so it doesn't burn.
When the sauce thickens and the chicken is glazed, remove the chicken and strain the sauce. Serve over steamed rice with your favorite vegetables.
