This fresh, simple and tasty hors d’oeuvre is a timeless pairing guaranteed to have your guests raving!
- 1 pint fresh figs
- 2 ounces fresh baby arugula
- 5 ounces honey chèvre
- 1 slice of prosciutto, cut into thin strips
Rinse, dry and remove tops from figs. Make 2 perpendicular cuts into each fig, then pipe ½ ounce of honey chèvre into each opening. (Chèvre often comes in plastic logs; if you snip the corner you can use the bag to pipe the chèvre into the openings.)
Finish the canapé with a leaf of arugula and a strip of prosciutto, then arrange on a serving platter.
