Too many people nowadays are in the dark when it comes to spaghetti squash, which is tragic given its ease of preparation, healthfulness, versatility, not to mention outstanding flavor. Here's a super simple way to get your daily dose and be a spaghetti squash pro!
- 1 each spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 1 tablespoon Fresh to Market extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon. kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Generously season the squash with the salt, pepper and oil, then bake cut-side down on a parchment paper lined sheet pan 30 minutes or until tender. While still warm, use a fork to pull the squash apart into spaghetti-like strands (hence the name). Drizzle with Fresh to Market extra virgin olive oil and parsley to garnish; nothing could be easier!
