Too many people nowadays are in the dark when it comes to spaghetti squash, which is tragic given its ease of preparation, healthfulness and versatility, not to mention outstanding flavor! Here's a super simple way to prep spaghetti squash like a pro.
- 1 spaghetti squash, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Generously season squash with salt, pepper and oil, then bake cut-side down on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan for 30 minutes or until tender.
While still warm, use a fork to pull the squash apart into spaghetti-like strands (hence the name). Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and add parsley for garnish.
