Peanut Butter Ale Waffles with Orange Gose Blackberry Syrup

Peanut butter and ale add fun and flavor to your standard waffles. Add some homemade orange Gose blackberry syrup as a sweet complement!
Ingredients
Peanut Butter Ale Waffles:

Orange Gose Blackberry Syrup:

Preparation
For the waffles, start by combining flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch in a large work bowl. Mix to combine.
In separate bowl, whisk the peanut butter with the melted butter until smooth. Whisk in the buttermilk, malty ale, and eggs.
To make the syrup, place the blackberries, sugar, orange zest and juice, honey, and Gose in a saucepan and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, or until cooked down with a syrup-like consistency.
Heat a waffle iron and brush with a little melted butter or oil. Add batter and cook until golden brown. Serve warm with the blackberry syrup.
