Make this classic martini dry by adding less vermouth, or wet by adding extra. Whichever you choose, make sure to use a premium vermouth as it makes a noticeable difference.
- 2½ ounces premium gin
- 1 ounce premium vermouth
- Olives or lemon twist, for garnish
Combine gin and vermouth in an ice-filled shaker and stir approximately 20 times. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with olives or a lemon twist.
