Charcuterie Pizza with Fresh Mozzarella

Prosciutto on pizza? You bet! While this recipe calls for prosciutto and coppa, feel free to try your favorite cured meats to find other fun flavor combos.
- 8 ounces pizza dough
- 2 ounces pizza sauce
- 2 ounces shredded mozzarella
- 1 ounce prosciutto, sliced thin
- 1 ounce coppa, sliced thin
- 2 ounces fresh mozzarella
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chiffonade
Heat oven to 475°F.
Roll pizza dough to 10 inches in diameter, then place on a pizza peel or baking sheet. Spread sauce to ½ inch from the edge of the crust. Top with shredded mozzarella, prosciutto and coppa. Break fresh mozzarella into ½-inch pieces and spread evenly over the top.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until crust and toppings are well browned. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to dissipate steam. Top with basil chiffonade before serving.
