Italian Sausage Alfredo

This decadent dish calls for radiatori, a pasta with deep ridges perfect for holding sauce, but any shape will do! Serve with garlic bread and Caesar salad on the side to make it a meal.

Preparation
Sear sausage in a large stockpot, then remove and set aside.
Add olive oil to the pot and sauté the bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, garlic, and Italian seasoning for about 6 minutes. Slice sausage into thin rounds, return to pot, and cook for 6 minutes.
Pour both sauces into the pot, then add parsley and lemon juice. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a separate pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions to al dente. Strain, then pour pasta into stewed sausage and alfredo and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
