These are so easy and fun that your kids will love them. The Tang adds a touch of acidity to balance all the sweetness.
- 1 bag microwave popcorn, popped
- 1 cup walnuts
- ½ cup butter
- 3 cups marshmallows
- 1 cup Tang
- black licorice (optional)
In a large mixing bowl add the popcorn and walnuts, and toss together.
Melt the butter over medium-low heat, when it is melted, stir in the marshmallows. Stir constantly until they become liquid. Pour over the porcorn mixture and stir to combine. Press into a lightly greased baking dish, and allow to cool.
When cool to the touch scoop out about a 1/2 cup of the popcorn mixture and roll into balls. If it is too sticky you can oil up your hands. Sprinkle a liberal amount of the Tang onto the pocorn balls until heavily coated and orange. Decorate with licorice to make eyes, a mouth, or the stem of a pumpkin. (optional)
