Serve your sundae in a frozen orange bowl for a fresh take on a classic dessert!
- 6 oranges
- 1 pint gelato, ice cream or non-dairy frozen dessert
- Whipped cream or whipped coconut cream
- 6 dark cherries in syrup
- 6 white or dark chocolate straws
- 6 mint sprigs
Cut the tops off of the oranges and scoop out most of the flesh. Freeze orange bowls for 1 hour or until firm.
Scoop gelato or frozen dessert of choice into orange bowls and return to freezer for approximately 20 minutes to set.
Just before serving, remove from freezer, place onto plate and garnish with whipped cream, cherries, chocolate straws and mint sprigs.
