This sweet, cheesy spin on dessert is almost too good to be true!
- 1 ounce butter, softened
- 4 slices raisin bread
- 8 ounces Fromage D'affinois
- 2 ounces fig jam
- 1 small green apple, seeded & sliced thin
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place buttered side down into heated skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden. Flip bread, top with cheese and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Place apple slices and a dollop of fig spread onto melted cheese, close sandwich and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
