Blend up this pretty patriotic drink in honor of our nation's independence and all those who made it possible. You can also easily adjust the recipe to make a fruity, non-alcoholic version for the kiddos!
- 1½ ounces premium silver tequila
- ¾ ounce triple sec
- 2 ounces margarita mix
- 3 ounces fruit puree
- 6 ounces raspberries
- 6 ounces blueberries
- 2 white peaches
- 6 ounces simple syrup
- 6 ounces water
Make this striped cocktail in three stages.
Begin by blending raspberries, 2 ounces simple syrup and 2 ounces water into puree, then strain for seeds.
Separately, blend blueberries, 2 ounces simple syrup and 2 ounces water into puree.
Peel and remove pits from white peaches, then blend with 2 ounces simple syrup and two ounces water.
To make it a margarita, fill blender with ice and margarita ingedients. Puree so ice is about 1 inch above liquid contents. Blend and repeat with each flavor.
Layer colored purees into a glass starting with blueberries, then white peach and topping off with the raspberries.
