Stuff sweet, fresh figs with a touch of blue cheese and chorizo for a simply sensational appetizer perfect for entertaining.
- 12 figs, halved
- 4 ounces blue cheese crumbles
- 4 ounces Spanish chorizo, minced
Preheat broiler to high.
Place halved figs cut side up on a lined baking sheet. Stuff each fig with ½ teaspoon blue cheese pressed into the center. Top each fig with ½ teaspoon Spanish chorizo.
Broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and some of the chorizo renders into the blue cheese and fig. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
